Homeopathy is a holistic system of healthcare that believes symptoms of illness represent the body's effort to express imbalance. Oftentimes, when we treat these symptoms with medication, we stop the body from expressing an underlying need and risk driving disease further inward. Once we understand the underlying cause of illness, a homeopathic remedy can be administered, which can help the body heal itself. Sandi Kaplan will explain how homeopathy works and show us how to use homeopathic remedies in our daily lives to help with a variety of acute ailments. Bring your questions and your own stories for an interactive evening.
Sandi runs Divine Monkey Homeopathy. She has been in private practice since 2003, serving the general population as well as particular communities such as women and children experiencing homelessness, women with cancer, LGBT communities and youth and people living on low incomes. In addition to general homeopathic services, she offers travel remedy kits, vaccination alternatives and student supervision. Additionally, Sandi is a trained Trauma Informed Care practitioner.
Divine Monkey Homeopathy believes quality healthcare is the right of all people and is dedicated to treating people of varying ages, cultures, ethnicities, economic backgrounds, gender expressions and lifestyles.
