Still Here Healing Fair: In Honor of Trans Day of Rememberance

Delta Mind Body Center is thrilled to be a sponsor of the  Still Here Healing Fair: In Honor of Trans Day of Remembrance put on by the Gender Health Center and held at Classy Hippie Tea! Several of our communities practitioners will be there offering services. Learn more about this event below.

 

This year for National Transgender Day of Remembrance the Gender Health Center is focusing on our RESILIENCE, our strength, our beauty, and our joy as a community. PLEASE JOIN US as we collectively heal and uplift and celebrate the trans lives taken from us by violence in this past year.

 

What: Still Here Healing Fair
When: Wednesay, November 20, 4:30 PM 
Where: Classy Hippie Tea,

Cost: Free*** 

The Still Here Healing Fair will provide much needed moments of mindfulness and healing for our community that is often broken from pain and exhaustion. We will uplift each other and heal together. We will have an art station and altar making where we can make pieces that honor the lives of our trans siblings stolen from us this year.  

Other activities include - 

• Card readings, birth chart readings, crystal work
• Guided Meditations
• Speakers who inspire and energize 
• Sitting and holding space together 
• Introvert / quiet area 
• Affirmation Station
• Healing Live Music 
• Open Mic 
• Food and drinks

We will also art and posters that honor the trans lives taken this year and we will end the event with a vigil and march in the streets.

Queer Brunch

4th Saturdays

January 25, February 22

11am - 1pm 

 

Queer Brunch! Gather together to build community, make friends, and create beautiful queer space. This event is for folks who identify as LGBTQIA2S+. Children are always welcome and the venue is ADA compliant and accessible.

 

This is a potluck style event! Plan to bring food or a beverage to share. In consideration of those of us with food allergies and special diets, please label your dish with the ingredients. We encourage you to bring your own re-useable dishes and cutlery. Disposable dishes, cups, and utensils will also be available if you need.

 

We will pass the hat at this event to help defray the costs of the space but donation is completely optional and no one will be turned away for lack of funds.
